Because there’s always more to understand.
Pillar & Mind Clinic is a mental health practice dedicated to supporting children, adolescents and adults. We provide a safe, welcoming and supportive space where individuals can feel heard, understood and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Seen. Understood. Supported.
A clinic built on understanding.
Through personalised, evidence-informed care, we work alongside individuals and families to support emotional wellbeing, build confidence and create meaningful, lasting change. Our work spans childhood through adulthood: from early emotional and behavioural concerns, through the pressures of adolescence, to the mental health challenges adults carry into work, relationships and family life.
The name reflects what we believe good care looks like: pillars, the stable, practical foundations that hold people up, and mind, the inner world of thoughts, feelings and experiences that deserves to be properly understood before anything else.
Pillar & Mind Clinic currently provides telehealth appointments Australia-wide and mobile, community-based appointments within our local service area. Consulting rooms are planned as the clinic grows.
People
Every person is more than a diagnosis or a referral reason. We start with who you are and what matters to you.
Perspective
Difficulties make more sense in context. We take time to understand history, relationships, environment and strengths.
Potential
Our goal is meaningful, lasting change, building confidence, skills and a stronger foundation for what’s ahead.
How we work.
Mental health care that takes the time to understand what’s happening, what has shaped it and what matters to you.
Evidence-informed
Assessment and therapy draw on approaches with strong research support, adapted thoughtfully to each person rather than applied as a script.
Neurodiversity-affirming
Autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental profiles are understood as differences, not deficits. Support builds on strengths and respects each person’s way of experiencing the world.
Trauma-informed
We prioritise safety, choice and trust, recognising how past experiences can shape the present, and moving at a pace that feels manageable.
Family-inclusive
For children and young people, parents and carers are partners in care. Where helpful, we include the people who matter most in a person’s life.
Collaborative
With consent, we communicate with GPs, schools, paediatricians and other supports so everyone is working from the same understanding.
Respectful & inclusive
We welcome people of all cultures, identities, abilities and backgrounds, and aim to make every appointment feel safe and unhurried.
