Anxiety
Persistent worry, panic, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety and OCD-type patterns. We help you understand what drives the anxiety and build practical, evidence-based ways to face what has felt unmanageable.
We provide mental health assessment and therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families. Below is an overview of the areas we commonly support. If your concern isn’t listed, please get in touch.
Turning understanding into practical support.
Persistent worry, panic, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety and OCD-type patterns. We help you understand what drives the anxiety and build practical, evidence-based ways to face what has felt unmanageable.
Low mood, loss of motivation or enjoyment, irritability, hopelessness and the ups and downs of bipolar and other mood disorders. Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, restoring routine and connection, and rebuilding a sense of possibility.
Work, study, caregiving and life pressures that have become overwhelming. We look at what is sustaining the stress and develop realistic strategies for boundaries, recovery and resilience.
Support after single-incident trauma or long-standing difficult experiences, including in childhood. Care is trauma-informed and paced with you, prioritising safety and stability before processing what happened.
Big emotions, outbursts, shutdowns, self-criticism or difficulty calming down, in children, teens or adults. We build skills to notice, understand and manage feelings, and help families respond in ways that support regulation.
Defiance, aggression, school refusal, difficulties with routines or social situations. We work to understand what the behaviour is communicating and support children, parents and schools with consistent, compassionate strategies.
Neurodiversity-affirming support for autistic and ADHD children, young people and adults, including understanding a new diagnosis, managing overwhelm, executive functioning, self-advocacy and supporting families and schools.
Parent consultations, family sessions and practical guidance to strengthen understanding, connection and support at home, whether or not a child is attending therapy themselves.
Isolation, relationship breakdown, adjustment to illness or disability, grief and loss, and major life transitions. We help make sense of what has changed and support the next steps.
Self-esteem, sleep difficulties, identity, perfectionism, and concerns that don’t fit neatly into a category. You don’t need a diagnosis to seek support. If something is affecting your wellbeing, it matters.
A thorough, collaborative assessment to understand what is happening and why, leading to a clear plan.
Structured, evidence-informed therapy for children, adolescents and adults, delivered via telehealth or in the community.
Sessions with parents and carers, and family-based work when the whole system needs support.
Letters, treatment summaries and school or GP liaison, with your consent, so support is consistent across settings.
We draw on a range of well-established therapeutic approaches and tailor them to each person’s age, strengths and circumstances.
Age-appropriate, family-inclusive support for emotional, behavioural, social and mental health concerns.
