How it works

Booking in four steps.

  1. Choose an appointment type

Select an initial consultation (for new clients) or a standard session, and whether you would like telehealth or a community-based visit.

  2. Pick a time

See real-time availability and choose a time that suits you. You will receive an email confirmation straight away.

  3. Complete your intake form

A secure online intake and consent form is sent through Halaxy. Completing it before your first session lets us make the most of your time together.

  4. Join your appointment

For telehealth, click the secure video link in your reminder email. For community visits, we will confirm the location with you beforehand.

Before your first appointment

  • Complete the intake and consent form sent to your email
  • Send your GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, if you have one
  • Have your Medicare card handy if you are being bulk billed
  • For children: a parent or guardian attends the first session

Your intake form link is included in your booking confirmation email.

Preparing for telehealth

  • A private, quiet space where you won’t be interrupted
  • A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection
  • Headphones can help with privacy and sound quality
  • Join a few minutes early using the link in your reminder

Managing your appointments

Reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation or reminder email, or call us. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice where possible. See our cancellation policy.

Reminders are sent by SMS and email before each appointment.

Questions

Booking FAQ.

Which appointment should I book first?

New clients should book an initial consultation. This longer first session lets us understand your situation properly and agree a plan together.

Can I book for my child?

Yes. Book under the child’s name and add your own contact details in the intake form. For younger children the first session is usually with parents or carers.

How do mobile or community-based appointments work?

When you select a community-based appointment we will confirm the location (home, school or another agreed setting) and any travel fee before the session. These visits are available within our service area: Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Is my information secure?

Bookings, forms, clinical notes and payments are stored securely in Halaxy, an Australian practice management platform. See our privacy policy.
